This Galaxy Slime is out of this world. You can play around with colours for various effects.
Time : Mixing 15 minutes and settling 2 to 3 days, however you can play with your slime immediately. Settling is needed for bubbles to disappear.
Difficulty : Easy
Ingredients
- Slime Glue - 1 and 1/2 Cups (1/2 a cup per colour)
- Slime Glue Activator - as needed for chosen consistency
- Food Colouring - Blue, Purple, Pink
- Glitter - Lots. Any colours you like. We think Holographic or Silver glitter mixed with Black glitter give a nice effect
- Small Star Confetti - Optional
Tools
- Clean work surface
- 3 x Large clean mixing bowl
- 3 x Mixing spoons and or spatulas
- Large flat airtight container
Method
- You are going to make 3 separate batches of slime
- Pour 1/2 cup Slime Glue into each mixing bowl.
- Add a different drop of food colouring to each bowl and mix well.
- Add glitter to each bowl and mix well.
- Add Slime Glue Activator, in little squirts at a time. Do not add too much as it will make your slime hard instead of stretchy.
- Mix slime with spoon or spatula until it comes together.
- Knead and stretch the slime with your hands, for a couple of minutes, until your desired consistency is reached.
- Carefully twist your 3 different coloured slimes together and store inside your airtight container.
Tips
- Always mix thoroughly, especially before adding more Slime Glue Activator.
- Only add more Slime Glue Activator if absolutely necessary (1 - 2 teaspoons per time)
- Add extra drops of food colouring for a darker colour. Slime too hard? Add more Slime Glue.
- Slime too sticky? Add more Slime Glue Activator.
- A large flat container works best, because the thinner your slime level, the quicker the bubbles will disappear.
- Wash your hands well before playing with your clear slime, so you don't get it dirty!
- Always wash your hands after playing with slime.
