This easy Galaxy Slime Recipe combines three incredible colours with loads of sparkling glitter to create a swirling slime inspired by distant galaxies, colourful nebulae and twinkling stars.

Mix blue, purple and pink slime separately, load them with glitter, then twist all three together and watch your very own miniature galaxy appear!

Every batch turns out differently — so no two slime galaxies need to look the same. 🌌

You can play with your Galaxy Slime straight away. Allowing it to rest for 2–3 days simply gives the tiny air bubbles created during mixing time to disappear.

Ingredients

1½ cups Slime Glue – ½ cup for each colour
Slime Glue Activator – add gradually until you reach your perfect consistency
Blue food colouring
Purple food colouring
Pink food colouring
Lots of glitter! ✨ – use any colours you love
Small star confetti – optional, but perfect for that galaxy effect ⭐

Mix and match different glitter colours and sizes to create your own unique galaxy!

Clean work surface
3 large clean mixing bowls
3 mixing spoons or spatulas
Large, flat airtight container

🚀 Let's Make Galaxy Slime!

We're going to create three separate slime colours before bringing them together to form our galaxy.

1. Divide Your Slime Glue

Pour ½ cup of Slime Glue into each of your three mixing bowls.

You should now have three equal batches ready to transform.

2. Create Your Galaxy Colours 🎨

Add a different food colouring to each bowl:

💙 Bowl 1 – Blue
💜 Bowl 2 – Purple
💗 Bowl 3 – Pink

Start with a small amount and mix thoroughly.

Want deeper, more dramatic galaxy colours? Add another drop until you're happy with the shade.

3. Add Some STAR POWER! ✨

Now for the fun part — GLITTER!

Add glitter to each colour and mix thoroughly.

Use holographic, silver, black or whatever combination you like. Sprinkle in some tiny star confetti for an even more magical outer-space effect.

4. Activate the Magic!

Add Slime Glue Activator a little at a time to each bowl, mixing thoroughly after every addition.

⭐ Important: Take your time! Too much Activator can make your slime firm rather than wonderfully stretchy.

5. Mix Until It Becomes Slime

Continue stirring each colour until the slime starts coming together and pulling away from the bowl.

You'll now have three individual batches of colourful, glittery slime.

6. Stretch & Knead 🙌

Take each slime out and knead it with your hands for a couple of minutes.

Stretch, fold and squish until you've reached your favourite consistency.

7. BUILD YOUR GALAXY! 🌌

Place your blue, purple and pink slimes next to each other.

Gently stretch them into long strands and carefully twist the three colours together.

Don't completely mix them!

You want to keep those gorgeous streaks of blue, purple and pink visible to create the swirling nebula effect.

Your Galaxy Slime is ready to stretch, squish and play with immediately.

For a clearer, glassier galaxy effect, place it into a large, flat airtight container and leave it undisturbed for approximately 2–3 days.

As the tiny mixing bubbles disappear, the colours and glitter underneath can become even more striking.

Add stars, glitter, slime charms or confetti and make your galaxy completely unique.

💡 Slime Glue Tips & Tricks

Mix thoroughly before deciding whether you need more Activator.
Add Slime Glue Activator gradually — 1–2 teaspoons at a time when making adjustments.
Too sticky? Add a little more Slime Glue Activator and knead again.
Too firm? Work in a little more Slime Glue.
For darker galaxy colours, add another small drop of food colouring.
Don't overmix the three finished colours or you'll lose the beautiful swirling galaxy effect.
A large, flat airtight container works best while resting your slime because a thinner layer can help trapped bubbles disappear more quickly.
Wash and dry your hands before playing to help keep clear slime looking clean and bright.
Always wash your hands after slime play.
Store your Galaxy Slime in an airtight container when you're finished.
